This is a wonderful blend of cranberry and apple with a touch of spice. Decided to try in CP soap at 7% which is slightly less than the recommended amount. Using my normal soap recipe, after mixing well before adding FO everything blended perfectly but as soon as I added the FO my oils completely separated. You could see the layer of separation through the container. I tried adding a little more lye thinking I could try and save my batch but that didn’t help either. I had to throw the whole thing in the trash. I’m not sure why this happened since I used within the allowed allowance but this was my first time using this oil and never had an issue like this with anyone’s fragrance. Very disappointed because I really wanted to make a soap with this scent. Guess I’ll have to stick to candles with this one. Attached is a before and after adding oils picture. Just wanting to help others avoid messing up a whole batch of soap. Maybe my FO was a bad batch so if you decided to try is FO maybe try in a sample batch first.
